Interestingly enough, Aurora "remembers" this and animations will now be smooth in chrome even after closing and reopening aurora or chrome. Unminimize chrome and it will be fixed again. Now minimize chrome and the issue will come back. (For example, play sound from a youtube video in chrome, switch to a profile of choosing, and the issue will be fixed.
